I'm a freelance illustrator and designer based in Scarborough, North Yorkshire (UK), though location isn't a barrier – I’ve worked with clients all over the UK and further afield. For no particular reason, I often work under the name House of Deadleg.
The majority of my work is character-based illustration, but I also create lettering, maps, logos and branding.
It's mainly vectors, with some pencils and pixels mixed in.
I'm a member of the Association of Illustrators and the York Guild of Media Arts, and I'm currently available for projects, collaborations and commissions. I'm particularly interested in opportunities for representation and illustration work for publishing.
If you're looking to hire an illustrator for a project, please get in touch for a chat, request a quote or sign-up to the mailing list to get updates on what's happening and when.
Past clients include:
Carlton Books, Yu Magazine, Ginger Wildheart, pndu.org, Stephen Joseph Theatre Outreach, Beverley Literature Festival, Artwaves Festival, Electric Angel, Sneakytrick.
